Start in Hanoi, Vietnam's exotic capital. The central Skylark Hotel is in the iconic Old Quarter -- Condé Nast Traveller recommends exploring "the back lanes, taking in the colourful stalls and street vendors". From there, sail around stunning Halong Bay, with its 3000 limestone islands, deserted sandy beaches and floating villages, on a luxury junk boat.
The next stop is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hoi An. Get a suit (or three) made to order in this fashion-savvy city where everyone knows a tailor, or relax on one of the many beaches nearby. The Mercure Hoi An Royal offers free bike hire and a shuttle service to Pacific Beach. There's also a restaurant, a rooftop bar and a swimming pool.
The trip finishes in Ho Chi Minh City at the Silverland Hotel, close to the sprawling Bến Thành Market, where you'll find everything from spices and handicrafts to Vietnamese coffee and street food stalls.
Depart on Tuesdays and Fridays for 2016 & 2017
